The most northerly of the Channel Islands and only eight miles from France, this magical gem measures three miles long by one and a half miles wide.  There's no rat race here, and a few moments hold up when the boat comes in with deliveries, is the only traffic jam you will ever see.  Life is good here on Alderney, with little or no crime.  We are proud of our little island and newcomers are welcomed warmly.
